Watercolor Fanatic is founded by Robert Joyner.
The Watercolor Fanatic story begins back in 2001 when Robert first discovered watercolors while living in South Walton Beach, Florida.
It didn’t take Robert long to fall in love with the medium. In 2004, Robert decided to use watercolor to make a living.
This came with a set of challenges like how would he make enough money to survive, would Robert sell art to make a living, or could he help others through teaching, or do both.
Robert scoured the web to find a resource that could help him both sell art and build tutorials for other watercolor artists.
At the time, most watercolor tutorials were in books, and not YouTube. After many years, and tears, the dream became a reality and Robert started painting full-time in 2012.
In 2022 Robert launched Watercolor Fanatic as a resource targeted for watercolor beginners and advanced artists.
